Get ready for an unforgettable Spartan experience just for admitted students! Make memories and connections as you meet other incoming students, tour residence halls and discover what it means to be part of the extraordinary Spartan community.

At Admitted Student Day, you’ll learn firsthand how MSU sets you up for a successful future, with opportunities to ask questions and connect with current students and faculty. You can visit our state-of-the-art facilities and explore a wide range of university resources and student support. Plus, you’ll find out more about housing and other campus departments and dive into some of MSU’s 1,000+ student organizations.

Your guide to the big day

Schedule

  • 8:30 a.m. — Check-in starts now!  
  • 8:30-10:15 a.m. — Preshow performances and giveaways
  • 8:30-11:45 a.m. — Resource Fair (concourse level)
  • 10:15-11 a.m. — Welcome and Event Kick-Off. Let the celebration begin!
  • 11:45 a.m.-3 p.m. — Exploration/Campus Open House: Choose from more than 100 sessions and a selection of tours and discover the opportunities that await you at MSU.

 Make sure to dress casually and comfortably for April weather in Michigan. Sun, rain or snow (sometimes all three in one day) are possible in the spring, so check your weather app before you head out.

Where to eat on campus and beyond

Light breakfast options will be served inside the Breslin Center. Lunch is on your own — reservations are required for MSU’s dining halls and Grab & Go locations, or you can choose to venture out and explore off-campus restaurants (no reservations required). Kindly note that individuals will be responsible for lunch expenses.
